TOUGH SCHEDULING
Conference USA's nine teams are split among the Great Lakes, Midwest and South Regions in the NSCAA regional rankings. Of the 25 non-C-USA teams that are currently regionally-ranked in these three regions, Conference USA has already faced 17 in non-conference play, with two more scheduled for later in the season. C-USA has posted victories against seven of these opponents (with two ties), including wins over the No. 1 (North Carolina), No. 3 (Furman) and No. 5 (South Carolina) teams in the South Region and the No. 3 team (Creighton) in the Midwest Region.

C-USA TOURNAMENT
The 2000 Conference USA Men's Soccer Tournament will take place Thursday, November 9-Sunday, November 12. Once again this season, the highest seed will play host to the championship. The winner of the tournament receive's the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Championship. UAB hosted last season's tournament and defeated Saint Louis, 4-0, in the championship match.
