C-USA Men's Soccer Players of the Week

Louisville's Marco Terminesi and UAB's Tony McManus have been selected as the Conference USA Men's Soccer Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week for the period ending Oct. 26. Terminesi won the offesive award and McManus garnered the defensive honors.

Terminesi finished the week with two assists and a goal in Louisville's 1-0 win over Marquette and its 2-2 tie with USF. Against the Golden Eagles last Wednesday, he provided the assist on Ian Quatocchi's game-winning goal late in the contest. Terminesi followed that performance with a goal in the 41st minute, scoring on a header off a deflection by Felipe Tolomelli. Two minutes later, Terminesi added an assist on a Ryan Edwards goal.

McManus played a integral part in the Blazer defense that led UAB to victories over Centenary and DePaul. In the 6-1 win over the Gents, he helped thwart several scoring opportunities and limited the opposition to 13 shots on goal. On Saturday, McManus helped the Blazers to their seventh shutout of the season and second consecutive shutout in C-USA play with a 2-0 road victory over the Blue Demons.
