Three Bulls Named to CoSIDA Academic All-District Team

University of South Florida men’s soccer players Dane Brenner, Chris Raye and Hunter West were named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District III Team, consisting of 11 student-athletes from Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. The three, along with eight other honorees, will represent District III on the national All-American ballot.

Members of the Academic All-District Team are starter or important reserve with legitimate athletic credentials and at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) in both undergrad and graduate work. They each have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing at their respective institution and have completed at least one full academic year at that institution. Each student-athletes has participated in at least 50 percent of the team’s games in the position listed on the nomination form.


The CoSIDA Academic All-America Team will be announced on Monday, Nov. 22
