TOUGH LUCK
Of Conference USA's 34 non-conference losses, a total of 21 have been come by one goal, including four in overtime. Eight of the nine C-USA teams have suffered at least one loss by one goal (with Marquette being the only school that has not).

For the third time in the last four years, Conference USA has six teams that have won 10 or more matches. Saint Louis, UAB, Memphis, Louisville, South Florida and Marquette have all won at least 10 times. Six teams also reached the 10-win plateau during the 1998 and 1997 seasons.

TOUGH SCHEDULING
Conference USA teams have faced 14 of the 23 non-C-USA teams ranked in the top 20 of this week's (Nov. 6) NSCAA poll.

Five different C-USA teams have posted victories against schools ranked in the current top 20. UAB defeated No. 2 North Carolina, Saint Louis beat No. 10 St. John's, Marquette downed No. 11 Creighton, Cincinnati beat No. 19 Ohio State and Charlotte defeated No. 20 South Carolina.

The 2000 Conference USA Men's Soccer Tournament will take place Thursday, November 9-Sunday, November 12 in St. Louis, Mo. The winner of the tournament receive's the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Championship. UAB is the defending tournament champion.
