C-USA Men's Soccer Tournament Bracket Set

    USF's 2-1 victory over visiting DePaul on Sunday secured the Bulls the final spot in the 2003 Conference USA Men's Soccer Tournament, Nov. 13-16, at the Mike Rose Soccer Complex in Memphis, Tenn. With the Bulls' win, the bracket is set for this year's tournament.

    Regular-season co-champions, 22nd-ranked Cincinnati (10-3-5, 6-2-1) and sixth-ranked Saint Louis (12-3-2, 6-2-1), are the top two seeds and will receive byes. The Bearcats are the top seed by virtue of winning the head-to-head tiebreaker with Billkens, defeating Saint Louis 4-3 in double overtime on Oct. 18.

    In the tournament's opening match on Thursday, Nov. 13, fourth-seeded Charlotte will take on fifth-seeded USF at 5 p.m. Louisville (11-6-3, 5-2-2), the No. 3 seed, will meet 20th-ranked UAB (9-4-5, 4-3-2), the No. 6 in the nightcap on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.

    UC will face the winner of the Charlotte-USF match on Friday, Nov. 14, at 5 p.m., followed by SLU taking on the winner of the Louisville-UAB contest at 7:30 p.m.

    The tournament concludes with the championship match on Sunday, Nov. 16, at 1:00 p.m.
