TULSA, Okla. - The Tulsa Golden Hurricane won its third-straight C-USA Championship title with a 3-0 victory over No. 2 seed Marshall. Tulsa improves to 13-4-2 and earns C-USA's automatic berth to the NCAA Championship.

Three different players scored for TU on the afternoon, beginning with a goal from C-USA Defensive Player of the Year Justin Chavez. The sophomore defender scored his second goal of the season when he sank a header into the net from close range. Chavez received the ball off a Chris Taylor corner in the third minute.

Taylor served up another assist to sophomore Austin Neil at the 13:20 mark to give Tulsa a 2-0 advantage. It was Neil's 11th goal of the season and third of the tournament as he scored both goals in Friday's 2-1 semifinal win over Kentucky.

Senior forward Jose Parada scored the final goal of the match as he snuck one in on the left side off assists from freshman Matt Boullt and junior Ashley McInnes. Neil, McInnes, Taylor and senior goalkeeper Andy Agulair were named to the all-tournament team. Aguilar made six saves on the afternoon.

Marshall goalkeeper and C-USA Freshman of the Year Daniel Withrow made four saves on the day as Tulsa held a slight advantage on shots at 15-13. Freshmen Devin Perkins and Tom Jackson each took four shots for the Thundering Herd, while senior midfielder Dustin Dawes added two. The trio represented Marshall (10-7-2) on the all-tournament team.
