Tulsa, Oklahoma - Tulsa men's soccer player Eric Burkholder was named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America second team, as announced today by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

A senior forward from Broken Arrow, Okla., Burkholder maintains a 3.96 GPA in finance. He has twice been named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District VI first team and All-America second team, and has been named to the TU Dean's List as a freshman, sophomore and junior. Burkholder has also been selected as a two-time Conference USA Academic Medalist and named to the C-USA All-Academic team. He has started 61 of 82 career games and has career numbers of 12 goals and 24 assists for 48 points.
