USF Men’s Soccer Honored With NSCAA/adidas Academic Award

The National Soccer Coaches Association of America announced today that the University of South Florida men’s soccer team is one of the honorees of the Men’s College Team Academic Award, making this the second time the team has received the honor (last in 2002).

The award is given to a team that had a grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the 2003-04 academic year. The Bulls, under the direction of head coach George Kiefer posted a team grade point average of 3.18. A total of 363 intercollegiate soccer programs (73 men, 290 women) earned the award.
