The University of Tulsa men's tennis team only had one athlete in action on Saturday at the Wilson/ITA Central Region Championships at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on the TU campus. Today featured the quarterfinals and semifinals of singles and semifinal of doubles. The finals will begin tomorrow at 10:00 am.

Featured teams from the Central Region are: Tulsa, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, ORU, Arkansas, Creighton, Drake, Nebraska, Wichita State, St. Louis, Illinois State, Arkansas-Little Rock and Southern Illinois.

In the quarterfinals, senior Ricardo Soriano fell to Oklahoma State's Dmytro Petrov, 6-3, 7-5. Petrov will play Oklahoma's Andrei Daescu in the singles final.
