Colombus, Ohio - The University of Tulsa men's tennis # 1 double pair was in action on the first day of the ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships. The duo of senior Andy Connelly and junior Ross Cunningham reached the quarterfinals by defeating Stanford's pair of Ted Kelly and Blake Muller, 9-7. The ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships is being held at The Racquet Club of Columbus and hosted by The Ohio State University; it will run from November 1-4.

Connelly and Cunningham will next play on Friday against the # 1 ranked pair of Somdev Devvarman and Treat Huey of Virginia, which is the same team they fell to in the semifinals of the Polo Ralph Lauren All-American.
