UAB's Jackson Named Women's Player of the Week

Jackson earned Player of the Week honors for the third time this season and the fifth time in her career. She averaged a double-double over the week with 30.0 points and 15.5 rebounds per game. In UAB's win over South Florida on Feb. 23, Jackson totaled 36 points, 16 rebounds and three blocked shots. She then scored 24 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in the win over Houston to help UAB earn the fourth seed in the C-USA Tournament. In the two games, Jackson shot 64 percent from the field (23-of-36), 67 percent from behind the arc (4-of-6) and .833 (10-of-12) from the charity stripe.
