Tulsa, Oklahoma - The Tulsa Golden Hurricane (25-5, 13-3 C-USA) will play in the first round of the 2006 NCAA Basketball Tournament this weekend. First round games will be played on Saturday, March 18 and Sunday, March 19. Tulsa will learn its first round opponent and game site tonight during the NCAA Tournament selection show, which airs from 6-7:00 p.m. on ESPN.

Tulsa will receive a very limited number of tickets for the first round game. Ticket orders will be taken following tonight's selection show. The deadline for purchasing tickets is Tuesday, March 14 at 5:00 p.m. Ticket requests will be accepted only by contacting The University of Tulsa Athletic Ticket Office. The TU ticket office number is (918) 631-GoTU (4688).
