Marquette Set to Host NCAA Mideast Regional

Four highly-regarded women’s basketball teams are about to descend on Milwaukee, Wis. this coming weekend as Marquette University gets ready to host the 2002 Mideast Regional at the U.S. Cellular Arena. Undefeated and No.1-ranked Connecticut, Penn State, Kansas State and Old Dominion are the four schools that will battle for a ticket to the Final Four in San Antonio.
Number-one seed Connecticut (35-0) will face No. 4 Penn State at 11:00 a.m. CST on Saturday, March 23, followed by No. 7 seed Old Dominion (27-5) squaring off with No. 3 seed Kansas State (26-7) at 1:30 p.m. The winners of Saturday’s games will advance to Monday night’s regional final, which will be played at 6:30 p.m. CST.
All session reserved seats for adults are $35 and $20 for youths. All-session general admission seats are available as well and can be purchased for $22 by adults and $15 by youths. People who purchase for all-session tickets will be able to watch both semifinal games on Saturday and the championship game on Monday.
