STORRS, Conn. (AP) - Grace Gantt scored seven of her 15 points in the final eight minutes as Texas Christian held off Michigan State 50-47 in the first round of the East Regional on Sunday.

The ninth-seeded Horned Frogs (20-13) play No. 1 seed Connecticut in the second round Tuesday night. The Huskies (32-1) advanced earlier with a 91-44 win over Boston University.

The Spartans (17-12) rallied from a 16-point deficit in the second half.
