HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Senior guard Sikeetha Shepard-Hall (Houston, Texas) was named the Donna Lawson MVP on Sunday during the Marshall women's basketball program's fourth annual awards banquet held at Big Sandy Superstore Arena.

Shepard-Hall, who finished her career as the school's third all-time leading scorer with over 1,600 points, was one of five departing graduates to be honored at the event. She was joined by Crystal Champion (Washington, D.C.), Michele Hagan (Houston, Texas), Reshundra Smiley (Modesto, Calif.) and Mary Pat Statler (New Cumberland, W.Va.).

Rocky Smith of WDGG 93.7-FM `The Dawg' served as the event's emcee and offered a look back at the 2005-06 season. Former Marshall star Amy Reed, who served as a graduate manager last season, was the special guest speaker of the afternoon.
