DALLAS(SMU) - Allison Singleton has been named Director of Women's Basketball Operations, as announced by SMU head coach Rhonda Rompola on Monday. Singleton joins the Mustangs after spending the last two seasons as a graduate assistant coach for the University of Arkansas women's basketball team.

"We're extremely pleased to have Allison join the Mustang basketball family," states Rompola. "Her previous experience while at Arkansas is definitely an asset and she is a strong addition to our staff. We look forward to working with Allison here at SMU."

Singleton will oversee the SMU film editing system, film exchange, as well as the Mustang team travel arrangements. While at Arkansas as a graduate assistant coach, Singleton supervised the video analysis equipment and assisted with film exchange and equipment. She served as the Lady Razorback team manager for three years, had the opportunity to walk-on and finished her final season as a player. Singleton graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2005 with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and just completed her Master's degree in Sports Management.

A native of Fort Smith, Ark., Singleton assumed her new duties at SMU on Monday, June 4.
