Classroom on the Court
C-USA Classroom on the Court is a grassroots program that will introduce school children in grades 4 and 5 to their local Conference USA Women's Basketball team, as well as the entire league, through curriculum-based activity. This program, in its second year, motivates students to learn in a fun way, using sports as the focus, while increasing attendance as their affinity for their local women's basketball team develops and grows.
THE PROGRAM
The Classroom on the Court program includes a free downloadable curriculum packet developed specifically for students in grades 4 thru 5. This packet will include a teacher's guide, an answer key, lesson plans, desk maps, and background information about Conference USA Women's Basketball. Lesson plans address National Geography and Math Standards. Registered teachers will receive an email reminder when the packet is available for download.
REGISTER TODAY
Teachers: Register your 4th and 5th grades classes through Sporting Geography, by completing the Classroom on the Court Registration Postcard. Once you are registered, you will be notified once the curriculum packet is available for download at www.conferenceusa.com.
