In U.S. Women's Pub Links action, Laura Cross returned to competition at the qualifier at Thorntree Country Club in Desoto and won medalist honors with a 77. The finals will be played at Kearney Hills Golf Links in Lexington, Ky., June 18-23. "Kate has really stepped it up this year and has become a really good player," said SMU Head Coach Todd Selders. "That was Laura's first round of competition in 11 months and she looked as though she picked up right where she left off. Two USGA Medals in one week is pretty awesome."
