IRVING, Texas - Emelie Lind of East Carolina is the Women's Golfer of the Week. Lind recorded her first collegiate tournament win with a one-under par 141 (70-71) and helped the Pirates capture the team title, their second team win of the season.

Lind recorded her first collegiate tournament win with a 1-under par 141 (70-71) at the UNCG-Starmount Fall Classic. She ranked first in the field in par-5 scoring (-5), collected a tournament-best nine birdies and ranked 11th in par-4 scoring (+4). It was her third career Top 10 finish and second Top 20 placement of the season. Lind helped the Pirates capture the team title, their second team win of the season, with a score of 583. In the opening round, the Pirates (27-14-0) carded a school-record 284 and held a 15-shot advantage heading into the final round on Tuesday where they carded a 299. The weekly award is the first of Lind's career.
