IRVING, Texas - The Golfweek weekly rankings continues to rope in Conference USA programs on both the men's and women's side. On the men's side, SMU secured the top spot of all C-USA teams at No. 34. The Mustangs competed at the Lone Star Invitational this past week and finished in third-place in the field of 12. Rounding out the ranks for the men's side is Rice (No. 64) and UCF (No. 73). A team on the cusp of cracking the Golfweek Top-100 is East Carolina. The Pirates tallied their first team win of the 2009-10 season at the Mizuno Savannah Intercollegiate behind the solid play of David Watkins, who earned medalist honors with an 11-under-par 205 performance.

On the women's side, five teams clip the Top-100 rankings, which include Tulane (No. 25), Tulsa (No. 29), UCF (No. 67) East Carolina (No. 83) and UTEP (No. 94). Of the ranked squads, East Carolina earned second-place honors at the Lady Pirate Intercollegiate, where Abby Bools earned second-place after posting a three-round total of 213 (70-71-72).
