Charlotte's Neil Roberts Named NSCAA Southeast Region Women's Soccer Coach of the Year

CHARLOTTE, NC -- Charlotte women's soccer coach Neil Roberts has been named the NSCAA Southeast Region Coach of the Year after leading the 49ers to the best season in school history.

Roberts was also named Conference USA Coach of the Year this past November. Roberts coached the 49ers to several 'firsts' for the program this
season. The 49ers earned their first ever national ranking and finished the season ranked in the top 25. Charlotte also set a school record with 16 wins and finished the regular-season as one of only two unbeaten teams in NCAA Division I. Charlotte also captured the Conference USA regular-season title and earned the program's second-ever bid to the NCAA Tournament.
