HUNTINGTON - The Marshall women's soccer incoming recruiting class was recently rated as the 92nd best class by SoccerBuzz.com, a prominent collegiate women's soccer website. It marks the first time the Thundering Herd has cracked the top 100 of the website's recruiting rankings.

"I'm excited with the rankings, and I hope it brings positive recognition not just to Marshall but also to Conference USA," said Marshall head coach Chris Kane. "I also have to give credit to our assistant Matt Gwilliam and our current girls for working hard with the incoming class when they visited. I can't wait to get the new girls on campus this fall."

Marshall's class was ranked 15th in the Great Lakes region, and sixth out of 12 teams in Conference USA. Incoming freshman Erika Duncan, from Easthaven, Scotland, was named one of the website's top 12 International recruits.

The women's soccer team reports to campus on August 12th, with practice beginning on August 13th.
