C-USA Announces Sept. 24 Women's Soccer Players of the Week

After the first weekend of the league season, Marquette, East Carolina, Cincinnati and Charlotte are tied for first place at 2-0. Here is a look at the Sept. 24 Conference USA Players of the Week.

OFFENSIVE: Ann Thomas, Cincinnati
Sr., F, Cincinnati, Ohio

Cincinnati senior forward ANN THOMAS is the Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week for the period ending Sept. 23. Thomas led the Bearcats to a pair of league-opening wins over Southern Miss and South Florida by scoring three goals and one assist.

DEFENSIVE: Jenn Howell, Charlotte
Jr., GK, Marietta, Ga.

Charlotte's JENN HOWELL is the Conference USA Defensive Player of the Week for the period ending Sept. 23. Howell led the 49ers to a 3-0 week, highlighted by league-opening shutouts of Houston and Tulane. Her 11 shutouts are tied for first in school history and seventh in C-USA history.
