Charlotte, Cincinnati and Marquette are each off to 4-0 starts. Most of the league steps out of conference action this week, as only Louisville at UAB on Sunday is slated in C-USA play this week. Find out what's new around C-USA Women's Soccer in this week's notebook.

CO-OFFENSIVE: Jennie Leeder, Charlotte Jr., MF, Spring, Texas
Jill Vendetti, Marquette Sr., F, Franklin, Mass.
Charlotte's JENNIE LEEDER and Marquette's JILL VENDETTI are the Conference USA Co-Offensive Players of the Week for the period ending Sept. 30. Leeder had two goals on the week, and each proved to be the game-winner against Southern Miss and South Florida. Vendetti tallied a pair of goals on the week as well, as her goal against Houston was the decisive score as well.
DEFENSIVE: Jenn Howell, Charlotte Jr., GK, Marietta, Ga.
Charlotte's JENN HOWELL is the Conference USA Defensive Player of the Week for the period ending Sept. 30. This is the second straight week that Howell has been honored. She recorded the 12th and 13th shutouts of her career as the 49ers ran their win streak to six matches overall, and four in the league. Charlotte has also shut out its last four opponents and has not allowed a goal in the last 385:27, or since the Sept. 18 Davidson match.

THE WEEK AHEAD Only one Conference USA match is scheduled for this week, as Louisville visits UAB on Sunday. In key non-league action, No. 12 Florida State visits South Florida on Tuesday, and Houston takes on No. 9 Texas A&M in College Station on Friday.

GLENN SURPASSES VICTORY MILESTONE Cincinnati coach MERIDY GLENN notched the 200th win of her head coaching career as the Bearcats defeated Memphis, 2-0 on Sept. 30. She is just the ninth coach in NCAA Division I women's soccer history to reach this milestone.
SHUTOUT STRING Dating back to the Sept. 18 Davidson match, Charlotte has not allowed a goal in the last 385:27.
C-USA NOTEBOOK CHARLOTTE Charlotte extended its winning streak to six matches and its shutout streak to four matches with a 3-0 triumph at South Florida on Sept. 30. Goalkeeper JENN HOWELL blanked the Bulls, recording two saves for her school record 13th career shutouts. She has five shutouts this season, which is a new season-high. Charlotte has not allowed a goal in its last 385 minutes The 49ers put their streak on the line on Thursday when they host Furman.
CINCINNATI Cincinnati coach MERIDY GLENN notched the 200th win of her head coaching career as the Bearcats downed Memphis, 2-0 on Sept. 30. She is just the ninth coach in Division I women's soccer history to reach this milestone. CHRISTY HOFFMAN remains steady in goal, as she has 5.5 shutouts this season and 23.5 in her career. UC puts its four-match winning streak on the line on Thursday when it hosts Butler.
DE PAUL DePaul suffered a pair of Conference USA road losses at Memphis, 1-0 on Sept. 28 and at TCU, 2-0 on Sept. 30. Goalkeeper LINDSAY DEASON recorded a career-high 10 saves in the loss to the Horned Frogs. The Blue Demons begin a four-match homestand on Friday when they host Purdue.
EAST CAROLINA East Carolina won its third Conference USA match with a 2-1 victory over Southern Miss on Sept. 30. KELLY GRAY's free kick with four minutes left proved to be the game-winner. Goalkeeper LAUREN WOLFF had eight saves to lead the ECU defense. The Pirates host Campbell on Thursday.
HOUSTON Houston suffered a 2-1 loss to No. 21 Marquette on Sept. 30. Goalkeeper ROBIN CATE had 11 saves for the Cougars. Cate recorded her second shutout of the season when UH blanked Saint Louis, 2-0 on Sept. 28. CARRIE EVANS and SHERIKA HARDAWAY scored goals for the Cougars in the victory. Houston visits No. 9 Texas A&M on Thursday and Texas on Sunday.
LOUISVILLE No. 12 Florida State handed Louisville a 3-2 setback on Sept. 29. The Seminoles scored the match-winning goal with 15 minutes remaining. Freshman LISA MARTIN had her first career goal to give the Cards a 1-0 lead. Louisville visits Murray State on Thursday and UAB on Sunday. The Louisville-UAB match is the only Conference USA contest scheduled this week.
MARQUETTE No. 21 Marquette rallied to defeat Houston, 2-1 on Sept. 30. KATE GORDON and JILL VENDETTI had the goals for the Golden Eagles, while ASHLEIGH KOENIG had four saves. This marks MU's eighth-straight win. The last time Marquette won eight straight was Sept. 15-Oct. 4, 2000. The Golden Eagles This is the fourth-straight year that Marquette has recorded at least a seven-match winning streak, including a nine-match string from Oct. 17-Nov. 10, 1999 and a 10-match string from Sept. 19-Oct. 28, 1997.
MEMPHIS Memphis defeated DePaul, 1-0 but lost to Cincinnati, 2-0. The win over the Blue Demons marked the Tigers' first league triumph of the year. Goalkeeper KATARINA WISCKSELL had her third shutout of the season, recording one save. The Tigers host Christian Brothers on Wednesday.
SAINT LOUIS Saint Louis suffered a 2-0 loss to Houston on Sept. 28 but bounced back with a 1-0 victory over Tulane on Sept. 30. JAMIE PERRY had her third match-winning goal of the season against the Green Wave. MEHGANN BURKE had her second shutout of the season with three saves. Southwest Missouri State visits Saint Louis on Tuesday.
SOUTH FLORIDA South Florida defeated Louisville, 1-0 on Sept. 28 but lost to Charlotte, 3-0 on Sept. 30. DANIELLE ALDRICH scored the lone goal at the 23:12 mark on an assist from CHRISTINE KOESTER. BRECK BANKESTER had five saves to preserve the shutout. No. 12 Florida State visits South Florida on Tuesday.
SOUTHERN MISS Southern Miss suffered a pair of one goal losses to Charlotte (1-0) and East Carolina (2-1). With one goal on the week, freshman midfielder LAUREN PREWITT now has four goals for the season. Prewitt leads the team with a .364 shot percentage, netting four goals in 11 shots. Prewitt is also tied with junior forward TRICIA WILES as the team leaders in goals. Wiles leads the team in total points, with four goals and two assists. Sophomore goalkeeper LESLIE SCHOEPLEIN now has 37 saves on the season. TCU TCU notched its second Conference USA win of the season with a 2-0 victory over DePaul on Sept. 30. This was also the Horned Frogs' first home win of the season. This was also TCU's first shutout of the season.The TCU defense held DePaul to a season-low eight shots on goal. TCU visits Centenary on Friday.
TULANE Tulane downed East Carolina, 2-0 but lost to Saint Louis, 1-0. The Green Wave continue to be led by its impressive freshman class - Against ECU, freshman BROOK PARKER scored the game-winner compliments of an assist from classmate LINDSAY MORRIS, while freshman goalkeeper SARA SIMPSON recorded her first career shutout. Three of the Wave's top six scorers are freshmen. Simpson, a true freshman, has seen noticable improvement as she has settled in the Wave nets, allowing just two goals in her last three games while making 18 saves over that span.
UAB UAB suffered a pair of losses to Cincinnati (2-1 on Sept. 28) and top No. 1 and defending national champion North Carolina (2-0 on Sept. 30). The Blazers held the Tar Heels three goals below their per match average. Goalkeeper LISA NOWASLAWSKI had 14 saves against North Carolina. BRIDGET WINSTON had UAB's lone goal against Cincinnati. The Blazers are at Birmingham Southern on Thursday and host Louisville on Sunday.
