With one week remaining in the regular season, several Conference USA women's soccer programs continued to solidfy their chances of qualifying for the C-USA Tournament in Charlotte, Nov. 5-8.
Charlotte, DePaul, USF, Tulane and UAB all earned a pair of wins over the weeekend. The 49ers picked up league victories against Cincinnati (1-0 2 OT) and Louisville (5-0), while UAB defeated TCU (1-0) and Memphis (2-1) conference action. Meanwhile, the Bulls posted wins over the Tigers (1-0) and the Horned Frogs (2-1 2 OT). The Blue Demons and Green Wave each garnered a conference and non-conference wins with DePaul upending Marquette (1-0) and Eastern Illinois (OT) and Tulane defeated William Carey (4-1) and Houston (2-1).
