East Carolina senior Blair Heffner and UCF freshman Aline Reis were named the C-USA Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively, for the final week of the regular season. Heffner won her first honor after scoring two goals, including the game-winner, in the Pirates 3-2 double overtime win Friday to clinch their first C-USA title. Reis registered her fourth Defensive Player of the Week honor, a conference-best for a single season, with four saves and no goals allowed in the Knights' finale win at Southern Miss.

Heffner scored two goals in the Pirates' regular season finale against Marshall, including the game-winner in double overtime that sealed a share of ECU's first C-USA title in program history. The Pirates also became the first team to go unbeaten in conference play since 2002, with a 7-0-4 mark. With Friday's performance, she now has a team-best seven goals and 18 points on the season. She put three of her four shots on goal for a percentage of .750. This is her first C-USA Player of the Week honor.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Reis, who has started 17 matches this year, came in as a sub for an injured Lynzee Lee vs. Southern Miss in the 35th minute of a 1-1 game. She then made four saves in 46:15 of work to keep the game tied and help UCF to a 4-1 win and the No. 3 seed in the C-USA Championship. The freshman goalkeeper is now 11-4-3 on the year with 86 saves, six shutouts and a 1.20 GAA. This is her conference-record fourth C-USA Defensive Player of the Week honor this season.
