Feb. 11 Softball Players of the Week

Lindsay Chouinard

DePaul junior Lindsay Chouinard has earned Conference USA Softball Pitcher of the week ho9nors, while the Hitter of the Week went to Houston freshman outfielder Kristen Glowacz. DePaul went 4-1 at the LSU Tiger Invitational this past weekend, while the second-year Cougars program is off to an 8-0 start.


HITTER OF THE WEEK
KRISTEN GLOWACZ, HOUSTON
Freshman, OF, Katy, Texas
Glowacz has helped lead the Cougars to an 8-0 start, batting .562 (9-for-16) in six games. The freshman has a 1.000 slugging percentage, hitting four doubles and one home run, while driving in seven runs. Glowacz has scored a team-leading six runs and also has a sacrifice fly. Included in the 8-0 record for the second-year Houston program are a pair of wins over ranked teams.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK
LINDSAY CHOUINARD, DE PAUL
Junior, LHP, Fresno, Calif.
Chouinard did not allow an earned run in 19 2/3 innings pitched at the LSU Tiger Invitational this past weekend, helping DePaul to a 4-1 record. She struck out 27 batters over four appearances, picking up two victories. Chouinard carried a perfect game to the final out against Western Michigan and struck out 10 of the 22 batters she faced against Northwestern (La.) State.
