Feb. 25 Softball Players of the Week


Lindsay Chouinard

DePaul's Lindsay Chouinard is the Conference USA pitcher of the week for the second time in three weeks after no-hitting No. 11 Pacific at the UNLV Mini-Tournament. Adrie Bogaars of Saint Louis earns hitter of the week honors after helping the Billikens to four wins at the Tennessee-Martin Tournament.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK
LINDSAY CHOUINARD, DE PAUL

Junior, RHP, Arvada, Colo.
Chouinard wins the Pitcher of the week award for the second time in three weeks after not allowing a run in 15 innings pitched at the UNLV Mini-Tournament this past weekend. She was credited with a pair of wins and a save in three appearances, striking out 10 and allowing just five hits. Chouinard’s first appearance was a no-hitter against No. 11 Pacific on Feb. 23 in which she struck out seven and walked just one batter.

HITTER OF THE WEEK
ADRIE BOGAARS, SAINT LOUIS

Junior, 3B/C, LaVerne, Calif.
Bogaars has helped lead the Billikens to the best start in school history (8-1). This past week, she helped SLU to four wins at the Tennessee-Martin Tournament by batting .444 with a double, two home runs and four RBI. She scored three times, stole a base and was 3-for-4 in a win over Lipscomb.
