Conference USA posted its first-ever softball win over a No. 1 team on Sunday as DePaul defeated UCLA, 1-0, ending the Bruins 24-game winning streak. Softball becomes the fourth sport in which a league team has defeated the top-ranked team in the nation since the inception of Conference USA in 1995, joining Men's Basketball, Baseball and Men's Soccer. Louisville's Aja Sherman threw the league's first no-hitter of the 2003 season in an 8-0 win over Ohio University on Saturday. Houston extended its winning streak to seven games with a doubleheader sweep of Saint Louis, which finally opened its season after 15 consecutive cancellations.
