Southern Miss swept their second consecutive series after a trio of victories over UAB. Both of Saturday’s games were each one-run decisions. The Golden Eagles have now won seven of their last eight games. USF improved their winning streak to 16 after taking three straight from conference foe Saint Louis. Their string of wins is the sixth longest in league history.

Louisville hosted a series against East Carolina. The Cardinals took all three from the Pirates, their second league sweep of the season.

DePaul went 2-1 with Houston in their home-opening weekend. The Blue Demons dropped game one, but claimed the second and third of the series.
