C-USA NOTEBOOK
EAST CAROLINA

Down The Stretch
The Pirates will not duplicate their second place league finish from a year ago, but they still have ample opportunity to move up in the standings with one more conference series left. ECU will host UAB this weekend in an attempt to move up from sixth place. The Pirates can finish as high as fourth but also as low as eighth which would mean participation in the play-in game of the nine-team C-USA Championship.
