C-USA Softball Tournament To Resume Play

The 2004 Conference USA Softball Tournament is currently in a rain delay but will resume play at 4:30 p.m. with the continuation of game seven, featuring No. 3 seed USF and fifth-seeded Houston that was halted on Friday evening. The Cougars are leading the Bulls, 5-0, with two outs in the bottom of the third inning.

No. 6 East Carolina and fourth-seeded DePaul will face off in game eight beginning at 6 p.m.

Game nine will follow at 8:30 p.m. with the loser of game seven against the winner of game eight.

Game ten will be the championship game to determine the league’s automatic bid to the NCAA Championship.
