Tulane's Leslie Christian earned C-USA Swimmer of the Week after leading the Green Wave to their first C-USA dual-meet win last week. Saint Louis' Tessa Truesdell claimed Diver of the Week accolades after sweeping both springboard events against Tulane and Eastern Illinois.
Swimmer of the Week Leslie Christian (Fr. – Wahaiwa, Hawai'i) – Tulane Christian won a pair of events to lead the Green Wave to a 163-131 victory over Saint Louis last week. She set a personal-best time of 10:23.26 to win the 1,000 freestyle, while also claiming the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:06.53. In its first-ever Conference USA matchup, Tulane won 10 out of 14 events versus Saint Louis.
Diver of the Week Tessa Truesdell (Sr., Overland Park, Kan.) – Saint Louis Truesdell swept the one and three-meter springboard at Eastern Illinois and against Tulane last week. It marked the sixth time this season that she has won both diving events. Truesdell claimed the three-meter board, notching a career-best score of 258.05 against the Green Wave.
