2005 Volleyball Tournament Media Information

Tournament Seeding
The seeding positions for the conference tournament shall be determined on the basis of the final regular season overall C-USA standings. The first place team in each division shall receive a bye along with the next two highest ranked teams. Teams receiving a bye shall be seeded as one group and those not receiving a bye as another.

Tie-Breaker
Ties in winning percentage, and thus for seeding poistions shall be broken according to the following formula (in order): 1. Overall conference win/loss percentage of all conference matches 2. Head-to-head match record between tied teams 3. Games won/percentage (games won/total games) between tied teams 4. Total point differential (pts. scored minus opponents points scored) between tied teams 5. Coin toss Note: Once tie is broken, the process starts again at number one.
